Internship Responsibilities

​

• Work in a team to bring forth unique and innovative product ideas to design a new product line for a craft brand based in Nepal.

• Complete bi-weekly exercises to reflect on the progress of the project and present the final product line at the time of internship completion to a panel of industry experts and brand owners.

• They produce and market hand-crafted/made items such as jewelry, bags, cards, woolen items, clothing, and other accessories while following a self-sustainable business model where raw materials are purchased locally or use recycled materials for the production of all the products.

Project Brief

• Design a bag for women with various compartments to carry multiple items such as sanitary napkins, baby products, etc. 

 

• Materials should be available to purchase locally available with trendy, easily thought designs & prints.

Project Outcome

​

• A multipurpose mommy bag, tote bags, and various types of purse organizers that are removable.

​

•  Designed with simple yet stylish patchwork using fabric scraps and stencil printing.
